Graduate Teaching Assistantships Public Health Scholarships


GTAs Public Health Scholarships cover full home fees and a maintenance grant set at Research Council Rates. In 2010-11 this amounted to approximately £15,590. GTAs are awarded annually on the basis of the academic excellence of the candidates and their potential as teachers of law. GTAs are allocated on the basis of the teaching needs in the Department of Law and the areas of expertise of the PhD students.
Eligibility: To apply for a GTA you must already have a UK or common law LLB qualification so that you are familiar with the teaching syllabus.

The Public Health Scholarships award is for full time postgraduate PhD research students only.The award is only open for applicants who want entry in September, as this is when teaching begins and when the award will start to be paid.As the GTA is a Department of Law award, your research proposals must relate to the Department’s areas of teaching and research. Research areas include: public international law; international human rights; public law; European Union law;criminology, legal theory and legal history; equity, trusts and property law; class actions, healthcare law;comparative law; immigration,asylum and rights of ethnic minorities; company and commercial law; competition law; criminal law and environmental law. Excellence in Nursing Public Health Scholarships


The Public Health Scholarships main functions are NCREN are systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials and research knowledge transfer to further commit to providing research training. A graduate student will be awarded in a range of interest, while the recipient to carry out systematic reviews and randomized controlled pilot study as part of their thesis.

2011 Commonwealth Public Health Scholarship,Kenya


Public Health Scholarship any one or two-year Master’s degree programme at University of Nairobi. Full tuition fees, an agreed stipend and research costs, one return airfare, and a one-off relocation allowance of USD 500.Public Health Scholarship applications should be made using the CSFP application form, which can be downloaded, completed electronically and printed.Three copies of the form, three copies of all supporting documentation requested, and evidence that the applicant holds British citizenship.
