Ten doctoral Public Health Scholarships programs are now united under the umbrella of GGNB that share a common platform for interdisciplinary training for doctoral students. All courses are in English. Each doctoral Public Health Scholarships student is one of the doctoral programs GGNB where he / she receives individual counseling and in his thesis by a thesis committee of three faculty members affiliated performed.
We call for Ph.D. Positions in biology / physics / chemistry in the following doctoral programs:
• Biomolecules: Structure - Function - Dynamics
• Molecular Biology of microorganisms, animal and plant cells
• molecular biology of development and the interactions between organisms
• International Max Planck Research School "Physics of Biological Systems and complex"
• Molecular Physiology of the Brain
• Neuroscience sensory and motor
• Systems Neuroscience
• Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience
Scholarships and institutionally financed Ph.D. positions are available.
Public Health Scholarships Candidates holding a Master’s degree in the natural sciences or related disciplines and an excellent academic record may apply by 15 May 2011 or also independent of deadlines.
